Tiny Tashlich: A Well-Produced Rosh Hashanah Experience

Everything about this year is new and different, so why shouldn’t tashlich be, too? At The Well we’re going BIG by going small and offering a tashlich experience like you’ve never seen, 15 different times over the course of 7 days!

At Tiny Tashlich: A Well-Produced Rosh Hashanah Experience, you’ll see, hear, smell, taste, touch, and EXPERIENCE the ritual of tashlich with your most authentic self. This customizable, immersive experience brings unconventional tools (like Silent-Disco Headphones!) to an ancient tradition, and allows you to engage in reflection, connection, and celebration with your friends at a safe physical distance.

Arrive with an open mind and an introspective spirit; leave with a renewed sense of peace and excitement for the year to come, a potted plant of the herb or vegetable of your choice, and a bag of seasonally-themed snacks and swag!

Groups will be limited to 10 participants.

Where: Sessions will take place in Rabbi Jeff’s backyard in Royal Oak unless otherwise noted. This is a large, outdoor space where we can control spacing and flow of people for maximum safety.

Due to the generosity of donors, tickets are available at a subsidized price of $15 per person. Financial assistance is available, please do not let cost be a barrier to experiencing Tiny Tashlich!

Safety Protocol: We have a number of safety guidelines in place and will share them in full with each participant upon registration. Here are the big takeaways:

1. Masks must be worn while entering and exiting the program, anytime a participant leaves their assigned station, or comes within 6 feet of another person.

2. We’ll stagger entrances and exits to the program space to avoid people crossing paths.

3. Participants will have assigned stations 8 or more feet away from others.

4. All program supplies will either go home with the participant as takeaways or will be sanitized between use. Tables and chairs will also be sanitized between sessions.
