This month Tot Shabbat is back the way you know and love it - IRL! Shabbat songs and story time will be led by Rabbi Jeff, Keith, and Marni, and we'll adhere to a few guidelines (below) to keep everybody safe and have a physically distant, socially connected experience!
Families with young children are invited to join us for one of two sessions:
Friday, August 7th at 3:30pm (This one's for our Huntington Woods / Southfield / Royal Oak-area folks!) and Saturday, August 8th, at 9:30am (This one's for our West Bloomfield / Farmington Hills / other west-side folks!)
Both gatherings are limited to the first 5 FAMILIES to RSVP.
This is our first in-person gathering since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, and we want to ensure maximum safety and comfort for our participants. We are continuing to monitor case numbers in Oakland County and will follow best practices set out by the CDC and Governor Whitmer. We appreciate your cooperation with the following guidelines:
1) To reserve your spot, RSVP to marisa@meetyouatthewell.org, letting us know which session you'd like to attend how many people are in your family. We'll provide exact park details and other info upon registration.
2) Everyone attending must wear a mask. Please wear your masks while walking to your blankets (more on that below). Once you're there, you may remove your mask when more than 6 feet from other families, though you're welcome to keep your mask on at all times for the safety of yourself and others.
3) Each family will have an assigned blanket that we'll provide. When you arrive, you'll find your name on a blanket - complete with take-home craft supplies and a snack pack - and we ask that your family remain in that area for the duration of Tot Shabbat.
4) We know how exciting it is to see our friends after so long, but we ask that both kiddos and parents refrain from hugging and sitting or playing close together. You're welcome to remain at the park after Tot Shabbat to safely gather and play with friends as you feel comfortable.

We're incredibly grateful to the Max M. and Marjorie S. Fisher Foundation for their support of our Family Ed activities!
