The rise in white supremacist and anti-Semitic activity in our community and around the country has left many alarmed, angry, and scared. We're inviting young adults to gather to learn more about how these attitudes are born, bred, and mobilized, and what we can do about it. Together, we'll examine the sources - both historic and modern, and religious and secular - hear from a Subject Matter Expert from the ADL, and engage in meaningful discussion about the rise of white supremacy and how it affects our communities.
Now you may be thinking, "Sure, I'll come out to learn about and discuss these issues, but what I really want to know is, is it okay to punch a white supremacist in the face?"
We hear you.
While we aren't endorsing violence of any kind, and are not encouraging folks to punch anyone in the face, we are offering a safe and healthy way to get some of that tension out.
Join us for an optional boxing class after our learning and discussion, led by Get Some Fitness owner and instructor Jeff Johnson. The class is suitable for all fitness levels and those both brand new and veterans to boxing workouts.
Due to the generosity of donors, there is no cost to attend the learning and discussion portion of the evening, though advance registration is required through the form below.
The boxing class is available for $15 per person, and all equipment is included. Please use the form below to register.
