Live Well is our summer series of outdoor experiences that get you moving and get you schmoozing! Spend quality time with the people you miss, meet some new friends, and enjoy an active evening!
We're so excited to welcome Nate Strauss to lead us in some sunset yoga on Thursday, June 17th at Starr Jaycee Park in Royal Oak. Together we'll shake off the stresses of the day and bring some renewed intentions to our minds and bodies. This class is beginner-friendly, but all levels of yoga experience are welcome.
Due to the generosity of donors, there is no charge to attend this event, but advance registration is required below.
We’ll have some light snacks and schmoozing from 7-7:30pm. Our class will begin at 7:30pm and last about an hour. You'll want to bring a yoga mat or a beach towel, a water bottle, and comfortable clothes you can move in!
Nate Strauss, he/him, is a 200 hour registered yoga teacher. He completed his training with MI Hot Yoga based in Lansing, Michigan, where Nate lives and works as the director of Jewish student life at MSU Hillel. Nate has completed additional trainings in trauma-informed yoga, yin yoga, and he recently completed a meditation teacher training. When not working at MSU Hillel or teaching yoga, Nate enjoys going on adventures with his dog, Feeny.
Registration for Sunset Yoga is now closed. We can’t wait to #meetyouatthewell next time!
