Young adults are invited to join The Well and the Holocaust Memorial Center to honor Yom HaShoah together in community.
As young adults, we have the critical responsibility of working together to remember the Holocaust. We have a limited time to hear survivors’ stories first-hand, so it’s important that we talk about how we plan to pass down these stories, preserve these legacies, and share these lessons with generations to come.
In addition to discussing our Jewish identities and the ways in which they’re tied to the Holocaust, we’ll hear from a few 3rd-generation survivors - about their families’ stories and the ways they continue to pass them down. We’ll also talk about traditional and more innovative ways to honor this day, using supplies kindly provided by the Holocaust Memorial Center.
Register using the form below to receive the Zoom link. You’ll also be able to sign up to receive a Yom HaShoah supply bag, which includes a Yahrzeit candle and candle holder, printed copy of the Mourner’s Kadish, and reflection cards.
